Goodbye Short-course Season

The shortcourse (SC= 25 yard pool) season is officially over this week for Age Group swimmers with the completion of TAGS at CISD. We will be transitioning into Long Course (LC= 50 meter pool) over the next couple of weeks. RICE swimmers had a great season with many swimmers achieving new time standards and making big improvements in the right direction. There will be a recap of the season going out shortly.

Spring Break Schedule - 3.15.2010

With most of our swimmers on spring break next week this gives a natural break and refresh to all of our swimmers and coaches before diving head first into the long course season. We will be using the following schedule next week for all Age Groups and Senior Groups. I encourage swimmers to take this time to relax and rest. We will be back to work on the following Monday.

Monday March 15th 2010

Start Practice -

Age Group 1 and 2 - 4:45 - 5:30 pm

Age Group 3, 4 and Seniors - 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Tuesday March 16th 2010

Turn Practice -

Age Group 1 and 2 - 4:45 - 5:30 pm

Age Group 3, 4 and Seniors - 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Wednesday March 16th 2010

No practice for Age Group

There will be no Saturday practice due to the Masters meet at RICE.

March Madness Masters Swim Meet

RICE will be hosting our annual masters meet this Saturday. Warm Up is 9:00 am with a 10:00 am start time. If anyone wants to come out and watch you are more than welcome to stop by the pool.

Age Group Practice

Age Group practice is cancelled for tonight. The Rec Center will be using the pool for lifeguard training and orientation.

Goodbye Shortcourse

Masters Practice Change

Masters Swimmers - The Rec Center will be closing the pool for lifeguard training at 6:00 pm this Friday. Masters will start at 5:00 pm and all swimmer must exit the pool by 5:55 pm.
