RICE Swimmers Excel at TAPPS State Meet

Three RICE Aquatics swimmers participated in this last weekends TAPPS state meet in San Antonio.

RICE Swimmers Advancing to TAPPS

RICE Swimmers will be swimming this weekend at TAPPS state meet @ Josh Davis Aquatics Center in San Antonio. Christine McGough, Rebecca Hawk and Lindy Reamer will be swimming on Saturday for their high schools. Good luck to all three swimmers at their meet this weekend.

Website Changes.

Parents and Swimmers- The next time you log into the RICE Aquatics website you should see a pop up window prompting you to verify your email address. Please click accept on this window. Your account info should then pop up with a box by your email asking to "send verification email". Click this button. You then will receive an email addressed from RICE Aquatics or Team Unify asking you to click a link for verification of your email. This ensures that all emails have been verified as working emails within the team. There is also a button below this that says SMS. You can now put your mobile number here so that the coaching staff will soon be able to send out a blanket text about practice changes or updates. Once you enter your number you should receive a text with a validation code you will need to enter in the website. Please take the time to go through these two new features to help the coaching staff communicate as easily as possible with all active members.

Practice Change

Parents  - Currently Groups 1,2 and 3 will not have practice tonight (2.9.2011) due to the road conditions post practice times. Groups 4 and Seniors will have practice 4:45 - 6:00 offered. Please use your judgement when deciding to come to practice. Coach (Young) Paul will be running practice as he lives on campus. The pool temps are holding strong so practice there should be practice on Thursday and Friday.


The only changes for Thursday are :


All Group 1's - 4:45-5:30 pm
Group 2 - 4:45 - 5:30 pm
