All RICE Aquatics Members - Please Read

Parents and Swimmers - Please read the following information regarding the Inner Loop Rd and drop off/pick up information. Begging after Memorial Day there will be two major changes at RICE that will affect drop off/pick up and arrival to and from the pool for practice. The Rec Center will have their Summer Youth Programs starting which will have kids being picked up and dropped off during our AM and PM practice times. There will be more traffic on the road than usual. In addition to this there will be construction going on to part of the roads at RICE which will make the Inner Loop (road that runs in front of REC Center) a two lane road. This means there will be no stopping other than for drop off and pick up along the street. Anyone stopping for more than a second will get ticketed. There will also no longer be the option of putting your hazards on even while in your car. For drop off purposes cars must do this past the cones that will be set up for the Rec Center youth program.
The best option for getting swimmers to and from practice during this time is parking either in the West Lot 1 or North Lot pay lots and walking them into the building and doing the same for pick up. Parents and Swimmers also have the option of purchasing a parking pass which gets them access to West Lot 2 parking lot near the stadium. I would like to thank everyone in advance for working with RICE Aquatics, RICE and the Rec Center while the construction and youth programs are going on.
If you have any questions please email coach Jason directly.
See you at the pool,
