Stretch Bands

As the Short course season wraps up the coaching staff is already looking forward to our upcoming Long course season. One big installment we will be adding is a dryland routine for Age Groups 2 through Senior 2. We are currently getting all of our material on paper for hand outs so we can begin rehearsing the routines as soon as the Championship meets end in Feb. All swimmers in Age Group 3 and above will need their "cords" if you have lost or do not have a one please get them so you are ready for the workout. We will be relying on these from now on during most of our dryland workouts. A sneak peak at what we are going to be working on ....

Stretching - Static and Ballistic
Shoulder Maintenance
Shoulder Strength Building
Core Strength Building
Yoga for Swimmers
Plyometrics

And a few more routines.

Groups 3 and above will work on these through out March and continue on a regular basis through the Longcourse season.
